"If you have much, give of your wealth; if you have little, give of your heart."

-- Arab Proverb

Why not consider being flexible and generous instead of competing?

Could we, like a palm tree that bends in strong wind, look for ways to bend our self and wherever possible, give generously to meet the needs of others?

Could we give others our full attention, truly listen to understand versus reply, and open our self to influence, achieving trust and positive results in our relationships?

Don't we spend most of our days competing in countless ways with others for recognition, accolades, reputation, and reward?

How often do we impose out beliefs, try to convince others, interrupt to get our point out first, and listen to find ways to persuade rather than truly understand?

Are there any ways we don't meet force with force in our efforts to be right and win over others?
